true freedom

I often forget about an awesome part of where we live. Just across the street and down the gorge is Seneca Park, a large park right by the Genesee River with tons of trails, quite and places to roam. I took Mookey there again this morning for some more "off leash" training, this time with the leash completely off. I couldnt be more happy with how good he did. And he loved it as well. He obeyed all my comands despite distractions like deer, squirrels and all kinds of stuff. P.S.- I know others grumble over such conditions, but I am excited that snow is here. and, notice the tongue on the first pic

Free to Roam

Looking back as if to say, "are you sure your ready for this?" I decided to let Mookey run free (well, I left his leash on him just in case, but didn't hang on) while we took a walk at Seneca Park. He did awesome, staying close when I asked him and coming back to me.

Allegany State Park

Learning the ways of fly fishin', thanks to master sensei, Justin. Had a good time cabin campin' last weekend at Allegany. I didn't actually catch anything, but had three brook trout on the line. Each one snapped the line. I left all the catching to the pro.
